What the announcement says
According to TDRA, the license authorizes Starlink Satellite Communications LLC to establish, operate and manage a public satellite communications network and provide broadband satellite internet services in the UAE.
The announcement is an important development for satellite connectivity in the country. Installation requirements still depend on the customer equipment, property, site access, mounting location and indoor network needs.
Independent installation support
Satix provides independent installation and connectivity support for customer owned equipment. Satix does not sell Starlink subscriptions.

Need smart home setup too?
Satix also plans Apple Home installations, including HomePod setup and compatible accessories. Both services can be assessed for the same property.
Apple Home does not require Starlink. We can plan a smart home around an existing internet connection and review indoor WiFi coverage separately.

Are subscriptions included in the installation?
Satix provides independent installation and setup. Starlink hardware, subscriptions and address eligibility are separate and must be confirmed with the provider.
